Our goal is to showcase the immense knowledge, diversity, and skill that Ontario video game and interactive entertainment studios have to offer.   • Epic Games
    • Strong C++ knowledge and multi-threaded programming techniques; ability to code and architect various core engine systems.
    • Demonstrated performance and memory optimization skills. Self-motivated and able to dive into a complex system with quick results.
    • Excellent knowledge of hardware architectures including x86-64, ARM, AMD GPUs, and NVIDIA GPUs.
    • Excellent knowledge of a broad range of graphics APIs including Metal, Vulkan and DirectX, as well as shading languages such as HLSL and MSL.
    • Familiarity with development tools and profiling on modern systems, including PIX, Razor, and renderdoc frame capture and profiling.
  • Rockstar Toronto
    • Bachelor’s degree in Art/Animation or equivalent experience.
    • Outstanding demo reel demonstrating experience working with Gameplay systems.
    • An understanding of a major animation package (eg Maya, Motionbuilder, etc).
    • Positive, solution-orientated individual, with a deep-rooted interest in video games, and game development.
    • Experience debugging and developing complex animation systems.
    • Understanding of development issues in getting animations into a game.
    • Ability to bring innovation and resolution to technical problems and challenges throughout production.
    • Demonstrated experience setting up production pipelines, while being able to follow guidelines.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work cross-collaborate with other teams.
  • Ubisoft Toronto
    • An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, an equivalent field, or equivalent professional experience
    • At least 3 years of professional software development experience (a focus on machine learning or experience in a technical area relevant to games is a huge plus)
    • Mastery of Python & proficiency in C++
    • A highly collaborative and solution-oriented spirit
    • Curiosity and critical thinking
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
    • Motivation to innovate in the video game industry & adapt to its (constantly evolving) rhythm
  • Digital Extremes
    • Strong Visual Design and illustration skills with an eye for graphic design, typography, motion graphics and iconography.
    • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, autonomous and adaptable
    • Organized, and possesses the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges
    • Strong design problem solving skills with the ability to independently research and learn the ins and outs of our existing UI systems
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Comfortable with rapid iteration
    • Bachelor of Fine Arts or equivalent experience an asset
    • 3-5 years experience designing and creating iconography, user interfaces and menus for games, apps or websites
    • Portfolio that demonstrates excellence in both Graphic Design and UI for Games, Web, or Mobile Apps
    • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator Enthusiasm and interest in video games.
