    Placing an application here is to submit your resume for general interest and to get into our talent database. We anticipate to be hiring more roles in the coming months, some of them could include:

    • Concept Art
    • Production Management (ie. Producer)
    • Programming for Gaming (all specialities | varying seniority levels)
    • One area could be in rendering / graphics
    • Please keep in mind many of our roles may require using C++ and Unreal Engine
    • Software Engineering (such as in AI/ML and/or Research & Development | varying seniority levels)
    • Technical Animation
    • Technical Art
    • Level Design

  • Sinn Studio
    • 5+ years of experience as a real-time VFX artist within Unreal Engine
      • Ensure to create cohesive assets that are performant and polished
      • Have a sense of timing and composition
    • Experience and understanding with industry standard software (ie. 3ds Max, Maya, EmberGen, RayFire, After Effects, Nuke)
    • Ability to work with gameplay and lighting
    • Eye for recreation of real world effects and atmospherics with timing, volume and weight
    • Strong ability to produce relevant art from scratch, or with available resources (purchased or provided by the company)
    • Comfortable using different software related to the art pipeline
    • Proficient in Niagara and related VFX systems (such as for volumes and particle systems) in Unreal
      • Ability to work with specular and normal maps
    • Creative, pragmatic problem solver
    • Receptive and agile with feedback provided
    • Strong understanding of art and technical pipeline requirements / limitations
    • Comfortable working with debugging
    • Shipped at least one PC / console game using the Unreal Engine
    • Knowledgeable in optimization workflows for real-time simulations and emitters
    • Strong grasp of native shader pipelines in Unreal Engine, with a demonstrated ability to leverage the material BP editor
    • Excellent interpersonal communicator (verbal and written) in technical and non-technical terms
      • Able to mentor other team members
      • Proven ability in documentation, training, and presentations.
  • Ubisoft Toronto
    • Scripting skills (MEL/Python/Lua, etc.);
    • Understanding of object oriented programming;
    • Understanding of fundamental animation principles;
    • Understanding of fundamental Rigging principles;
    • Ability to communicate and collaborate with Artists and Software Engineers;
    • Relevant software experience – Motionbuilder, 3DSMax or Maya, and game engines;
    • Strong problem solving mindset;
    • Adaptability, suppleness, flexibility, open mind;
    • Open to constructive criticism;
    • Good collaboration with members of the animation team and other team members on the project.
    • College diploma in 3D animation techniques for video games or equivalent.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in video game technical animation, or any other relevant experience.
  • Magmic
    • Translate concept art into 3D environment pieces, including modelling/texturing/shaders and their optimization for mobile devices (polycount, texel density…)
    • Ensuring consistency with all the art already produced.
    • Well-organized project files to facilitate good collaboration and efficiency.
    • Problem solver, efficient and ready to quickly modify designs if needed.
    • Be ready to actively participate in meetings and reviews, incorporating feedback for supervisors.
