Mighty Yell’s All Systems Dance Headed for Early Access
Toronto indie studio Mighty Yell, the team behind The Big Con and the recently released Missile Command: Delta, will launch their new rhythm based adventure All Systems Dance into Early Access this year on Steam and Epic.
The game blends Mighty Yell’s signature humor and eye-catching art style with a fresh take on dance battles and puzzle-solving. Early Access offers players the chance to groove with the game ahead of its full release, provide feedback, and help shape its final form.

Soft Rains Drops New Trailer for Ambrosia Sky
Ontario-based indie studio Soft Rains just unveiled a brand new trailer for their atmospheric sci-fi game Ambrosia Sky. The new teases a mysterious world full of death and melancholy, as well as the game’s powerwashing-like mechanics. With its gorgeous visuals and evocative score, Ambrosia Sky is shaping up to be one of the most striking upcoming indie titles to come out of the province.

Canadian Media Fund Expands Support for Games

This summer, the Canadian Media Fund (CMF) announced new funding initiatives aimed at strengthening Canada’s video game ecosystem. The programs expand access for interactive creators, giving studios more opportunities to secure development support and bring ambitious new projects to market. For Ontario studios, this means fresh possibilities to scale, experiment, and compete globally while contributing to Canada’s $5.5B video game GDP.

In case you missed it, the CNE Gaming Hub was a major draw a this year’s Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto, giving thousands of attendees a chance to play, discover, and celebrate Ontario made games. The showcase featured a wide array of local studios, including Sticky Brain Studios, Soft Rains, OK_XR Studio, Billy’s Cookies, City From Naught, and more! The Gaming Hub was a fantastic way for the general public to see firsthand what Ontario’s incredible indie game and XR studios have to offer.
