The Game Developers Conference (GDC), the world’s largest event for game industry professionals, returns from March 17–21, 2025, in San Francisco. After an incredibly successful GDC 2024, Ontario’s game studios will be well-represented at the 2025 show, showcasing their latest stellar projects and engaging with the global development community. Dead by Daylight’s Game-Changing Update

Behaviour Interactive is rolling out major updates to Dead by Daylight, addressing long-standing player concerns. With improved matchmaking, fairer map selection, and a surrender system, Trials will be more balanced than ever. These updates will roll out in two phases, from April to December. Release date: TBD.

Star Wars Outlaws Receives BAFTA Game Award Nominations

Ubisoft Toronto Star Wars Outlaws BAFTAs

Ubisoft Toronto’s Star Wars Outlaws has been nominated in three categories at the BAFTA Game Awards! Humberly González earns a nod for Performer in a Leading Role, while lead studio Massive Entertainment is recognized for Audio Achievement and Music. A huge congratulations to all the talented teams who brought this galaxy far, far away to life!
