Spots of Light, an immersive VR documentary from Ontario’s Occupied VR and HCXR, earned a nomination for Best Immersive Experience at this year’s Canadian Screen Awards — a major win for the province’s XR scene.

The Toronto Game Expo is levelled up this weekend as a two-day event that ran March 29-30, 2025.
