ICYMI: Highlights from MIGS 2024
MIGS 2024 kicked off last week in Montreal, bringing together video game and XR industry members from across Canada.
Highlights include an energizing panel on understanding market dynamics, presented by Ubisoft and moderated by Jason Della Rocca, featuring insights from Clara Sia, Chloe Giusti, and Matt Handrahan. Stéphanie Marchand, VP of Production at Behaviour, shared her thoughts on maintaining an indie mindset and building a strong company culture in a fireside chat. Industry advocate Carl Edwin led a discussion on Creator Programs for Growth, while Kristian Roberts and Amir Satvat offered valuable insights on the evolving games industry workforce. The indie pitch competition brought standout presentations from Ontario indie studios, with a big congratulations to Titan Studios on their win!
