Ontario’s studios shared some great updates on their titles coming very soon to Steam at The MIX x Kinda Funny Spring Game Showcase last week!

The MIX (Media Indie Exchange) and Kinda Funny partnered to host the annual Spring Game Showcase livestream on Friday, where developers had the opportunity to show off their newest games ahead of GDC 2024.

Here are the province’s games showcased at the event:

Fera: The Sundered Tribes – Massive Damage

Massive Damage Games shared a short developer preview of Fera: The Sundered Tribes, an action-adventure plus colony sim title coming soon to Steam!

As your tribe’s hero, lead them in combating the massive beasts that roam and corrupt your land. Grow your village by defeating these monsters, and bringing together your people! Zip through the air using a magical tetherhook and speedy glider wings and take the monsters by surprise by using your agility to your advantage – one that you will sorely need.

Hangry – Game Pill

Toronto’s Game Pill announced their newest action-RPG HANGRY at the showcase, along with treating viewers to a brand-new trailer for the game!

Playing as the eponymous Hangry, you work in an old underworld diner in a city where food is everything. Traverse the galaxy and hunt down delicious monsters to satisfy your owner Goutra’s insatiable appetite. The only thing is you can’t eat the merchandise yourself…

From Toronto-based Maple Powered Games comes G.I. Joe: Wrath of Cobra, a beat ‘em up style multiplayer action title!

Slated for release later this year, Wrath of Cobra throws you straight into the 1980s era of G.I. Joe, complete with a retro art style. Bring Cobra down as you play as several iconic G.I. Joe characters, including Duke, Scarlett, Snake Eyes, and more, and take down hordes of Cobra troopers, Crimson Guards and more enemies using a variety of weapons!
