Sledgehammer Games have just revealed more details surrounding Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and the date for this year’s CoD Next event.

At Gamescom’s Opening Night Live, the developers showed off footage of the game’s first mission, “Operation 627.” The mission serves as a prelude to the events of Modern Warfare III, seamlessly connecting it to the final events of Modern Warfare II.
