Ubisoft Toronto recently organized an engaging event called Hack the ROM, where more than 50 students participated. This innovative program, done in collaboration with ROM (Royal Ontario Museum), aims to connect Ontario students with Indigenous knowledge. With the guidance of mentors from Ubisoft Toronto and Indigenous Museum Educators (IME), students enhance their digital literacy by creating digital media projects, including games inspired by the Indigenous Ancestors at the ROM. The event was filled with excitement and proved to be a fantastic opportunity for students to learn and explore the intersection of Indigenous culture and technology.
